Privacy Policy

Effective: September 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how California Gaming Report (“we,” “our” or “us”) collects, uses and discloses information when you visit CaliforniaGamingReport.com and related pages (the “Website”). California Gaming Report is an independent advertising and information publisher. We do not operate the third-party gaming applications or services discussed on the Website.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to information handled through the Website and communications sent directly to us. When you follow a link to a third-party application, operator, app store or registration service, that party’s privacy policy applies to its collection and use of information.

2. Information we collect

Information collected automatically

Our hosting, security, analytics, advertising and attribution technologies may collect:

Information you provide

If you email us, we collect your email address, message, attachments and any other information you choose to provide. Do not send passwords, full payment-card data, government identification numbers or information needed by a third-party account provider.

Information we do not collect directly

The Website does not create gaming accounts, accept deposits or withdrawals, or directly request payment-card details. These activities, if available, occur on third-party services.

3. Cookies, pixels and attribution

The Website may use cookies, browser storage, tracking pixels and similar technologies for site operation, analytics, fraud prevention, advertising measurement and referral attribution. These may include services supplied by Meta and performance-measurement or attribution platforms such as Voluum, together with hosting or analytics providers configured for the Website.

Essential technologies support security and requested functionality. Optional analytics or advertising technologies may measure visits and actions or associate them with an advertising campaign. Where legally required, optional technologies should be activated only after the relevant consent is obtained.

4. How we use information

5. How information is disclosed

We may disclose limited information to hosting, security, analytics, advertising and attribution providers that process it for the purposes described above; to professional advisers; when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety; in connection with a sale, merger, financing or transfer of Website assets; or with your direction or consent.

Following an affiliate link may allow the destination provider and attribution partners to recognize that the visit originated from this Website or a particular campaign. We do not control the destination provider’s subsequent collection or use.

6. California notice at collection

Depending on the technologies used during the preceding 12 months, we may collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as IP address, email address and cookie or click identifiers); Internet or electronic-network activity; approximate geolocation; commercial or referral information associated with a qualifying action; and inferences concerning advertising engagement. We collect these categories from you, your browser or device, advertising platforms, attribution providers and service providers for the purposes described in Sections 3 and 4.

Sale or sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising or measurement activities may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, depending on how a provider uses the information. California residents may request to opt out of sale or sharing by emailing support@californiagamingreport.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.” We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16.

7. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on your location and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to or disclosure of personal information; correction; deletion; portability; restriction or objection; and information about categories of collection and disclosure. California residents may also have the right to opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable, and receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

Submit a request to support@californiagamingreport.com. Describe the right you wish to exercise. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify the request and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law. An authorized agent may submit a request where legally allowed, subject to verification of authorization.

Browser controls and Global Privacy Control

You may block or delete cookies using browser settings. Where the Website deploys technologies legally treated as selling or sharing, a recognized Global Privacy Control signal should be treated as an opt-out request for that browser or device as required by applicable law.

8. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to provide the Website, pursue legitimate interests in security, analytics and business measurement, comply with legal obligations, and—with consent where required—use optional advertising or analytics technologies. You may withdraw consent through available controls, without affecting prior lawful processing.

9. Data retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected. Security logs are generally retained for a limited operational period; advertising and attribution records may be retained long enough to validate campaign actions and resolve disputes; and correspondence may be retained while needed to answer the request and meet legal obligations. Providers may maintain their own documented retention periods.

10. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No Internet transmission, website or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. International processing

Website and service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for relevant international transfers. Privacy protections may differ between jurisdictions.

12. Children and age restriction

The Website is intended only for adults aged 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or intentionally direct advertising for gaming offers to them. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information directly to us.

13. Third-party links

We are not responsible for third-party privacy, security or content. Review the destination’s policy before providing information or creating an account.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Website, providers or law. The revised version will be published here with a new effective date.
